Investiture Ceremony 2012-13

Investiture ceremony is one of the most important events of any school. It is here that we entrust faith and hope in our newly appointed school council.

The investiture ceremony for the current academic year was held on 27th July, 2012 to administer the oath of office to the new school council. The event commenced with a prayer and a welcome song. Badges and sashes were presented by the guests present on the occasion followed by the principal’s address to the newly appointed school council. The oath taking ceremony was conducted by Ms. Hema Vaidyanathan from the Physics Department. It was a proud moment for the DPGA family as meritorious and responsible students stood on the stage to take oath of office. As the students took oath they pledged that they would carry out their responsibilities in all earnestness and with integrity.

The council stood in pride and honour under the leadership of the Head Boy, Shubhankar Patankar and the head girl Shraddha Bhojane. After a vote of thanks by Mrs.Indu Parvathi, the programme concluded with the national anthem.
