Rangilo Raas 2024

On the 28th October 2024, Dr. Pillai Global Academy illustrated colours on the canvas by hosting Rangilo Raas, a grand garba event that brought together students, their families, friends and the school’s staff for a sparkling night of celebration whilst valuing the tradition. As the Deputy Cultural Head and the event manager, I was more than honoured to work with the organisation and the execution where every soul felt euphoric—enjoying and dancing their hearts out. The venue came into life with the colourful aura submerged in its ambience and atmosphere.

Every individual shined their own way, draped in beautiful ethnic attire, taking garba rounds, dashing with the music, deciding flawless patterns and possessing breathtaking energy. The air was filled with laughter, excitement, savouring numerous cuisines and shared a deep respect for the culture making the event truly special.

Rangilo Raas wasn’t just about dancing and celebration but an experience that strengthened bonds and nurtured teamwork. It gave everyone involved a chance to appreciate our heritage while fostering a sense of unity and collaboration. The event left us all with cherished memories and a renewed connection to our cultural traditions.
