Senses Lab Activity

Senses Lab Activity was held in the activity room. All the classes of Early Years were taken to lab on Monday 25th July, 2016. Various activities were done in the Senses Lab. Some of the interesting activities conducted to explain the five senses were: Phone activity with the help of paper cup and musical instruments for hearing; children touched and felt the texture of various things like hard toys, soft toys, nets and poky mats to experience the sense of touch; a blindfold game was played to help children recognize the smell of different items; Eyes-vision games like magnifying glass game were also played to show the difference between small and big, a torch light and various colours were shown too; children tasted various food items like sugar, lemon, salt, chilly powder to understand the sense of taste.

In the end children were shown a ppt. based on the five senses in their respective classes.
